Cleveland 2022 DEIB Annual Report

In October last year, NAWBO National sent all members a DEIB survey. Earlier this year they sent us an Excel spreadsheet of the data from the survey. As the Chair of Cleveland's DEIB Committee, I gathered the data for Cleveland and used the National template to create an Annual DEIB Report based on the 2022 survey. However, the data from the survey does not reflect the actual makeup of our chapter because only 39 completed it. It helps us see who the membership is and also how they feel about DEIB as it relates to Cleveland. The surveys are important because the data helps with recruiting and retaining members, obtaining corporate partners, access to grants, and gives us credibility from an advocacy standpoint. National will do another survey in 2023 and we hope all members will complete the survey so we can have a more accurate reflection of our members across Northeast Ohio.
