Boost Your Visibility with Your Online Profiles

Hello NAWBO professionals! We want to ensure you're getting connected with the amazing network of inspiring women around you! Did you know you have two online profiles on NAWBO's websites? There is one for your local chapter (www.NAWBONEO.org) and another is on the national site (www.NAWBO.org). Completing your bio and company profile on both significantly increases your visibility and reach.

Having a complete profile on both sites connects you with NAWBO members for valuable collaborations, mentorships, and friendships. It also makes you easily discoverable by those seeking services or wanting to connect after an event.

You might be thinking, "I'm already busy enough!" Trust us, we get it. But investing a little time in your online profile can reap huge rewards. To help you save a little time and make the process smoother, we thought of a few things that might help:

 

The 5 Minute Test Run:

Take a few minutes today to just log into your member dashboard on both NAWBONEO.org and NAWBO.ORG. That’s it! Just log in! We know how frustrating it can be if we forget our passwords, so if you do this once and experience a hang up during the process, you’ll have it all fixed when you come back to fill out your profile!

 

Take 15 Minutes to Get Your Ducks in A Row:

With this step you will be setting yourself up to make the rest a cinch!

Set aside 15 minutes (block it on your calendar). Locate or take a clear headshot (shoulders up). Draft and save your bio in a document (copy/paste from your website or LinkedIn if you have one).

Now, it’s time to do the thing! Schedule time on your calendar to complete your profiles (30 minutes should suffice with your prep work done). A completed profile is your key to connecting with like-minded women and boosting your professional visibility.

So go get your ducks in a row and share a bit about yourself and what you do! While you’re on the national NAWBO click the wheel in the upper righthand corner of your account: add your email address and check the boxes for some of your interests so you don’t miss communications or events that are relative to what matters to you.
